Hi, visitors!!!

I’m Nemo. d>_<b
Yes I know you think of the fish in the movie. But no, my name is not from the movie.
Of course this name isn’t my real name, but I prefer to be called ‘Nemo’ because it is easier to
pronounce and remember.

I am an undergraduate majoring in Comp-Sci, and working as a part-time web programmer. Some
may say “Part-time? it’s not cool!!” But no, it is cool! I do not have to maintain important systems,
but I only have to develop applications for faculty and staffs. I can be less responsible.(and of course
we all must be responsible whatever we wrote and created.)

As a web programmer, I feel real happy when my clients thank me in person. Some says that my app
is very user-friendly and easy to use. Not really, but I try hard to make it like easy. Some clients are
very requiring. They do not even want to touch my app. They want me to operate it for them because
they heard I am a part-timer. They think I am the one for data-entry job. Plz, wake up!

I prefer team project. It helps team members create programs and codes in good quality. They can
help out each other. And if possible, they can share information and study together. However, what I
do now is all 1-man projects. I like it too because I have to build an app from scratch. Analyzing
requirements, designing and building DB schema and web apps are all I do.

As a student, I like to learn new things(in software development). I have been in college for 7 years,
and in 2009 I will be graduating with BS degree in Comp-Sci(I was studying 4 years in my country
majoring in Software Engineering and now majoring in Comp-Sci). I will also go to grad school for
majoring in Computer Forensics. It is real interesting topic and it meets my eager to learn and my
personality.

I am also a big music listener. Believe of not, my last name is ‘Song’. I listen to any genre of music,
and it depends on the mood of the day. Also a big fan of iPod Touch.

I believe that programmers and developers must dress up well so that we break the prejudice about
‘geeks’. We do whatever people do. We eat whatever people eat. The only difference is that we know
better than them, and we create things people need. We ourselves should be proud of being us.
