iPod Touch 1st Gen and iPhone 3G S.
It’s been one and a half years using the iPod Touch. I bought it for $300 at the moment.(since it is 1st generation..)
It has been working fine for me. As a personal organizer, scheduler, email client, iPod, web browser, game console, dictionary, map, weather caster, and so forth. I can say it was worth the money I paid for it.
Now, I have iPhone 3G S. It does better job for everything now.
I think it’s time for my iPod Touch to retire.
Of course, it’s not like broken or not working properly. It is just not needed to me anymore.
So I am thinking, what can I do with it?
Should I give it to my brother when he comes back? He has got an iPod nano months ago.
Should I sell it for a cheap price? like $50? oh no it’s too cheap..
Should I use it for my home entertainment? then it requires more stuff to buy, like speakers and home stereo system + ipod touch dock.
I just don’t know what to do with it.

iPhone 3G S Speed Test.
Today I tried to test iPhone 3G S speed test using Speed Test app from Ookla.

Speed test results.
I tested three different networks: Edge, 3G and Wi-Fi.
First test result is Edge.

Second is 3G.

Upload: 310 Kilo-bits
Last is Wi-Fi.

I can’t believe 3G is that slow.. Or is my Wi-Fi too fast??

Writing Resume.
Recently I am writing my resume.
I got a kind-of job offer, and was asked to hand in one.
While writing it, I had chances to think of what I have done up to now.
Projects, people, and events…
Those all happened to help me grow up well.
And now I make myself a well sold programmer(hopefully!).
I will see how it goes.

Finals Finished.
My blog readers, I am so sorry for not updating often.
I had had finals(actually one online final exam and one final project) recently, so I did not have enough chance to do it.
Sorry.
Let me talk about my last project.
The project was for the ‘Programming Handheld Devices’ class.
I used J2ME and NetBeans for the class.
What was the last project? A PacMan game.
The core part of the game wasn’t good enough, but I made it up with all side effects like funny sounds and images.
And plus PPT! All others missed this part.
We had presentation for each one, and I was the only one who prepared PPT for it.
The professor was so glad that I did everything fine, and he joked me a lot in the class.
I am so happy that I finished this semester.
My tennis class is done, and the writing intensive class is done too.
It’s time to relax and prepare for the last Summer sessions in school.
Oh, and my graduation commencement on May 28th too.
